KENT, Ohio — Senior center Angela Perry made a layup with two seconds left in overtime to lift Bowling Green State University to a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball victory over Kent State on Wednesday night.
Freshman guard Nyla Hampton then sealed the victory with a block of Nila Blackford’s driving shot.
The Falcons improved to 15-4 overall and 11-3 in the MAC.
Kent State fell to 7-5, 6-3.
Hampton and freshman guar Lexi Fleming led Bowling Green with 15 points each. Fleming also led the Falcons with 10 rebounds.
Junior guard Kadie Hempfling had 12 points for BG, while senior guard Madisen Parker scored 11.
