BOWLING GREEN — Angela Perry tied for a game-high 23 points, but it was not enough as the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team fell to the Miami RedHawks 80-59 on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
Perry made 10 of 12 shot attempts (83.3 percent) from the field and collected a team-high five rebounds for Bowling Green (8-12, 1-7 Mid-American Conference). The Falcons have now lost seven of the past eight games, all to MAC opponents.
Four of Miami’s five starters scored in double figures. Peyton Scott scored 23 points on 10 of 14 shooting, and she gathered eight rebounds.
