CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the second time in as many days, pitched a masterpiece in downtown Cleveland. On Saturday (Feb. 13), the Bowling Green State University redshirt freshman threw a perfect game as the Falcons downed Cleveland State University, 2-0.
The perfect game is believed to be just the second in school history.
In game two, the Falcons erased a six-run deficit to defeat the Vikings, 8-7, in nine innings. doubled to score with what proved to be the winning run, and Gottshall picked up the victory in relief. After striking out 16 of the 21 batters she faced in the opener, Gottshall pitched 7 1/3 innings of relief in the nightcap.
