BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University hockey lost 2-0 to Ohio State on Saturday at Slater Family Ice Arena, completing a two-game sweep for the Buckeyes in the weekend home-and-home set.
Ohio State, which beat the Falcons 3-1 on Friday in Columbus, scored both its goals in the second period Saturday. A tripping penalty on BGSU’s Ben Doran put OSU on the power play, and Davis Burnside took advantage for the game’s opening goal at the 4:46 mark of the second.
At the 12:05 mark of the period, Damien Carfagna doubled the Buckeye lead with his second goal of the weekend.
