BOWLING GREEN — To give one an idea how the Bowling Green-Ohio game played out Tuesday night, Falcons quarterback Grant Loy set a career high for passing yards, the two sides compiled more than 650 yards of total offense, and they scored enough combined points to surpass the Las Vegas over/under.
And then it was halftime.
In the sprint that was Tuesday, however, the Bobcats never stopped, rolling to a 66-24 victory against the Falcons at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Ohio (5-6, 4-3 Mid-American Conference) kept alive its chance to become bowl eligible, and in the process made coach Frank Solich the winningest coach in MAC history with his 111th win at Ohio.
