BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University junior forward Ryan O’Hara scored the game-winning goal with less than seven minutes remaining to give the Falcons a 4-3 win over Ferris State in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game on Saturday at Slater Family Ice Arena.
O’Hara’s goal came after Ferris State scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of the third period to tie it at 3. Spencer Kersten dropped off a nice pass to O’Hara, who converted from the right side and from close range to give the Falcons the lead.
BGSU (7-11, 5-5 CCHA) earned its first sweep of the season after coming up just short the past three series when it won the opening contest each time.
