NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The No. 16 Bowling Green State University hockey team defeated the No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Friday night (Nov. 29) by a final of 5-2. The win advances the Falcons record on the season to 9-5 while the Irish fall to 8-3-2. Eric Dop was stellar for Bowling Green in goal, registering 27 saves on the night, 24 of which came in just the first two periods. In the scoring column, Brandon Kruse scored a goal and assisted on another while Alec Rauhauser logged career point 100 with a goal in the second period.
