KANSAS CITY, Mo. (BGSU Strategic Communications) -- Bowling Green State University women's soccer standout Nikki Cox has earned yet another impressive honor. On Thursday (Dec. 16), Cox was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Third Team.
Cox is just the third women's soccer student-athlete in program history -- and the third in as many seasons -- to earn Scholar All-America honors from the organization.
Cox was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-North/Central Region First Team, which was also announced on Thursday.
Cox, a native of Granville, Ohio, was named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team, becoming BGSU's first-ever three-time all-league first-team selection.
