One of the top goalkeepers in Bowling Green State University men's soccer history will continue his career at the next level. On Thursday (Jan. 16), Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC announced the signing of Anthony Mwembia.
Mwembia has signed a one-year contract with the Riverhounds with a club option for the 2021 season, pending USSF and USL Championship approval.
"Anthony is a well-rounded goalkeeper with the ability to make the big save," said Pittsburgh head coach Bob Lilley. "He is a player who we feel can develop quickly in our environment."
In the fall of 2019, Mwembia wrapped up a stellar four-year career between the posts for the Falcons.
