BOWLING GREEN — When Chase Gresock assisted on Austen Swankler’s power-play goal in Bowling Green State University’s hockey game at Michigan Tech on Feb. 11, the Falcons joined a league of their own.
It showed just how committed BGSU players have been to making an impact at the college level.
Gresock surpassed 100 career points with the assist and joined teammates Alex Barber and Taylor Schneider as Falcons players to reach the milestone this season. BGSU is the only team at the NCAA Division I level to have three active 100-point scorers.
“It’s a big deal to them because you just don’t see guys getting 100 points in college hockey that often.
