BOWLING GREEN — When it comes to the quality of play on the field, Bowling Green State University’s football team has been all over the place through the first six games of the 2023 season.
It has resulted in a frustrating start for the Falcons.
BGSU’s 2-4 overall record (0-2 Mid-American Conference) includes a convincing win over Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Georgia Tech on the road. It was the Falcons’ second win over a Power Five conference opponent in the last three seasons (beat Minnesota in 2021).
The victory over the Yellow Jackets, though, was sandwiched between two brutal MAC losses to Ohio and Miami (Ohio) in which BGSU lost by a combined score of 65-7 and was outgained 684-341 in total yards.
