ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan scored what proved to be the winning goal with just over 15 minutes left, downing the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team by a 2-1 score Sunday night (Aug. 22). The non-conference match was held at U-M Soccer Stadium.
The Falcons, now 0-2-0 on the young season, got on the board quickly, as scored with less than a minute gone in the match. But, the Wolverines (2-0-0) benefitted from an own goal in the 12th minute, before Nicki Hernandez scored the winner at the 74:59 mark.
