BOWLING GREEN — With Cleveland in sight for Bowling Green, Miami made sure the Falcons’ potential first-round bye will wait for another night.
The RedHawks made a whopping 15 shots from behind the 3-point line and ran away with the game in the second half, sweeping the season series with Bowling Green with an 82-69 victory over the Falcons Tuesday at the Stroh Center.
Tuesday’s result was the second consecutive game in which BG (19-8, 11-4 Mid-American Conference) surrendered more than 80 points and fell to a team with a losing MAC record.
Four Falcons scored in double figures, led by Justin Turner and Demajeo Wiggins, who both scored 14 points.
