Lake Charles, La. – The Falcons collected a pair of doubles wins and two singles victories Wednesday afternoon, but the Bowling Green State University tennis team fell, 4-3 to McNeese State. The non-conference match was held at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.
"Very close battle today, but we fell short at the end," head coach Stephanie Dalmacio said. "Now back to work to get ready for the MAC season in a couple of weeks."
The Orange and Brown started strong by taking the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Picking up their seventh win this season, sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash defeated the Cowgirls junior pair of Sarah Jurakova and Hannah Brett, 6-4.
