The Falcons are now 6-1-1 in their last eight games.
Bowling Green's offense won the opening face-off and quickly put a number on the scoreboard. In the first minute, Kevin Dufour stole a loose puck and turned it into a breakaway. He sent a laser from the left circle past Olivier Mantha's stick side for a 1-0 lead.
