BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green senior quarterback Matt McDonald has taken an uncharacteristic number of hits in the past few weeks, and senior center Jakari Robinson has taken that personally.
“It hurts our pride big time. Even sitting here right now, it's in the back of my mind,” Robinson said. “We can't dwell on it. We can't let him get hit, and if he gets hit, we need to be there to pick him up.”
Such is the importance of McDonald to the Falcons’ fortunes both in the 2022 season and in Tuesday’s rivalry game against Toledo.
