Kiara Hurley’s career in the pitching circle has come full circle.
Hurley, an all-conference softball pitcher at North Carolina Central, will finish her career at Bowling Green State University.
The Maumee High School graduate will transfer to Bowling Green after two seasons at North Carolina Central and one season at Eastern Michigan. This past season, Hurley made the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference first team.
Her transfer to BGSU partially stemmed from a fit in a master’s program for her accounting major, she said.
After not wanting to attend BG out of high school because of its proximity to where she grew up, it ended up being one of the factors in her decision to transfer to the Falcons program.
