YPSILANTI, Mich. — Bowling Green’s women’s basketball continued its 2019 losing streak, falling to Eastern Michigan 81-74 on Wednesday night.
The Falcons (7-10, 0-6 Mid-American Conference) have now lost six in a row, their most recent victory coming on Dec. 30 against Davis & Elkins.
Andrea Cecil had a game-high 33 points and 10 rebounds. Sydney Lambert and Morgan McMillen also each scored 12 for BG.
The Falcons started off the game strong, building a 10-0 lead that was led by Cecil’s five points, and capped by a 3-pointer from McMillen.
The Eagles responded with a massive 14-2 run of their own, allowing just one layup from Angela Perry as the lone BG bucket during the six-minute stretch.
