BOWLING GREEN — New Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler hired former Falcons assistant Terry Malone as offensive coordinator and retained Carl Pelini as the team’s defensive coordinator.
Loeffler, whom the Falcons hired last week to fill their open head coaching position, also retained linebackers coach Jacob Schoonover.
Pelini coached the final five games of the season after Bowling Green fired Mike Jinks in October. The Falcons went 2-3 during that span.
Malone coached at Bowling Green under both Moe Ankney and Gary Blackney from 1986-95, then was on staff with Loeffler at Michigan.
