BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler saw a different Falcons team on Saturday compared to last week’s contest at Michigan.
He doesn’t want this week’s version of the Falcons to become the norm.
Three BGSU players were ejected, including two for receiving multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, and the Falcons had 12 accepted penalties for 123 yards overall in Saturday’s 38-7 Mid-American Conference loss to Ohio. Loeffler said he was embarrassed by the lack of discipline his team showed and acknowledged that he even apologized to Ohio coach Tim Albin about it after the game.
