BOWLING GREEN — For the second week in a row, the Bowling Green State University Falcons defense provided points before the offense could set foot onto the field.
BGSU won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, and Murray State began the game with possession on its own 25-yard line. After losing 3 yards on their first two plays, Murray State quarterback Preston Rice found receiver DeShun Britton across the field for what would have been a first down if not for the Falcons defense.
The ball was jarred out of Britton’s hands, and Brock Horne intercepted the loose ball and brought it to the Murray State 29.
