BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The No. 11 Bowling Green State University hockey team were on the short end of an overtime final of 4-3 on Saturday night (Jan. 4). After the Falcons took a 3-1 lead in the third period, the Wildcats scored two goals with their goalie pulled, having a 6-5 advantage, to send the game to overtime. During the extra minutes, Northern Michigan netted a goal with just 47 seconds remaining in the period. The loss drops Bowling Green's record to 12-9-1 on the season, being 7-6-1-1 in WCHA play.
