WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jack Panyotou knocked home a rebound with just over six minutes to go, lifting Georgetown University to a 1-0 win over the Bowling Green State University men's soccer team Saturday afternoon (Oct. 1). The match, the final non-conference contest of 2022 for both teams, was held at Shaw Field.
BGSU goalkeeper made a nifty kick save on a shot by Marlon Tabora from the top of the 18, but Panyotou was first to the rebound, running onto the ball on the left side of the six-yard box and firing it into the far side of the net to give the Hoyas (3-4-2) the lead.
