Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Brandon Kruse and women's basketball player Angela Perry.
Brandon Kruse, a junior from Saline, Mich., had a three-point weekend for the Falcons as BGSU swept No. 5 Notre Dame by identical 5-2 scores. In Friday's win, Kruse logged an early goal, his first of the season, to extend the Falcon lead.
