CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Bowling Green State University baseball program made a late push on Sunday (Feb. 27) in the weekend finale against Austin Peay. BGSU scored two in the top of the eighth inning and another in the top of the ninth, but the effort came up just short in a 7-6 final that went to the Governors. Jack Krause led the way for the Falcons at the plate with two solo home runs. The loss moves Bowling Green to 2-4 on the young season with Eastern Kentucky next up on the schedule, a three-game series set for next weekend (March 4-6).
