Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Medical Mutual Athletes of the Week, as selected by the strategic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are soccer player Logan Kowalczyk and swimmer Daisy Platts.
Logan Kowalczyk, a sophomore from Pinckney, Mich. had a 2-0-0 record and a goals-against average of 0.00 last week, as the Falcons posted a pair of 1-0 wins on the road. Kowalczyk made three saves in a Wednesday victory at West Virginia, then had three more stops in a Sunday-afternoon win at Northern Illinois.
