BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler is happy to have a player like Ta’ron Keith on his team.
So is quarterback Connor Bazelak — and a whole lot of other Falcons.
Keith’s versatility was critical in the final 20 minutes of BGSU’s 24-21 Mid-American Conference win over Ball State on Wednesday. With standout Terion Stewart limited due to a right leg injury, Keith, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound junior running back, stepped up with several clutch catches, rushing attempts, and had a key kickoff return to help set up BGSU’s game-winning score.
