Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University senior libero Kallie Seimet has been named the Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference today.
Kallie Seimet was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Duquesne Tournament. The Falcons went 2-1 in Pittsburgh to win the tournament. Statistically the best libero in the country a year ago, Seimet had yet another big weekend as she averaged 6.44 digs per set, racking up a total of 65 digs on the week. The senior notched 30 digs in just four sets versus Oakland to begin the week and followed up that performance by averaging 8.
