Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University sophomore Kailee Perry has been named the Mid-American Conference's Track Athlete of the Week. The award continues a banner year for Perry between cross country and track & field.
In the fall, Perry was twice named the USTFCCCA National Runner of the Week in cross country. She claimed the MAC Championship in cross country and has carried that momentum into the spring. She is the No. 1 ranked miler in the MAC after posting a time of 4:53.78 at Central Michigan's Jack Skoog Invitational this past weekend. That time is the fifth-fastest mile in program history and she becomes the fourth-fastest woman in BGSU history in the event.
