Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green women's cross country runners Kailee Perry and Katerina Shuble were named Distinguished Scholar-Athletes Friday by the Mid-American Conference.
Recognition as a Distinguished Scholar-Athlete is given to student-athletes who have excelled both in athletics and academics. In order to earn the honor, a student-athletes must be named both Academic All-MAC for their performance in the classroom, and All-MAC for their performance in competition. They also must carry a minimum 3.50 grade point average. First year students, junior college transfers and graduate transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible.
