BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced the players of the Week on Monday (Feb. 1). Of those named, Justin Wells received recognition from the conference for being the WCHA Defensemen of the Week. This is Wells' first time being named in his collegiate career.

Last weekend, Wells totaled three points for the Falcons as Bowling Green captured a sweep over No. 18 Michigan Tech. Wells began the weekend with his first career multiple-point game, logging a goal and an assist. The goal was the first of the game for the Falcons and the assist came on the second.
