BOWLING GREEN — Justin Turner erupted for 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists as Bowling Green’s second-half run put away visiting Drexel 81-71 on Sunday at the Stroh Center.
The Dragons and Falcons were tied at 60 with fewer than nine minutes remaining in the game, but Bowling Green mounted a 14-3 run across the next six minutes to assert control of the game.
Demajeo Wiggins added his sixth double-double of the season for the Falcons (4-3) with 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Dylan Frye scored 10 points and Daeqwon Plowden added 8 points and 6 rebounds off the bench for Bowling Green.
