Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team posted five career-bests and a season-best on the floor Sunday as the Falcons threatened a school record that has stood for 17 years. Jovannah East tied the school record with a 9.975 on the rotation as the Falcons scored a 49.350, just shy of the program record 49.425 on the event. The 49.350 score would have been good enough to surpass the school record in any of the other three rotations.
The score capped a roller-coaster day for the Falcons as Kent State came away with the team victory, scoring a 195.
