BOWLING GREEN — This season was supposed to be one of growth for Bowling Green, which figured that at worst, its offense would be potent.
To say Saturday was an alarming showing for the Falcons would be putting it mildly.
Against an opponent looking for its first win of the season, Bowling Green sputtered on offense for most of the day. The Falcons fell 38-23 to Miami at Doyt Perry Stadium, a score masked by a few late scores after Miami was so far ahead it began playing its reserves.
