BOWLING GREEN — Yes, Mike Jinks knows the record of the Bowling Green State University football program in his first two seasons as head coach.
But he remains confident that the lessons he has learned from his 6-18 start, including last year’s 2-10 season, will help him improve the Falcons’ fortunes down the road.
“Not only do I feel I have a good grasp on what this job entails, there’s no doubt in my mind I can do it — and do it well,” Jinks said in a wide-ranging interview last week that focused on recruiting, additions to his coaching staff, and spring drills in preparation for the 2018 season.
