BOWLING GREEN — Playoff hockey has a way of bringing out the best in good teams, and Bowling Green State University is betting that an elimination setting will lead to good things.
The Falcons (21-9-5) enter the Western Collegiate Hockey Association tournament knowing their best game is capable of competing with just about anyone in college hockey. Against teams who are currently in the top 16, the Falcons sport a record of 5-0-1.
Bowling Green’s second half of the season, however, was inconsistent.
The Falcons finished 8-6-2 in their final 16 games of the regular season and lost hold of the No.
