After going to extra innings to pick up a victory Saturday afternoon (Feb. 22), the Bowling Green softball team needed just five frames to capture a second win in the evening. The Falcons posted a 4-3 win over Central Connecticut State before earning an 8-0, run-rule win over Rider.
Both games were part of the Tiger Classic, hosted by Tennessee State.
BGSU is now 3-0 on the weekend after Friday's 7-1 win over the host school, and the Falcons are 5-3 on the young season.
