BOWLING GREEN — Scot Loeffler on Thursday became the first college football coach in the country to radiate heat via Zoom.
Through two games, Loeffler's Bowling Green Falcons have been outscored 100-27, and the second-year coach's normally mild-mannered press conference was anything but ahead of BG's Nov. 17 game against Buffalo.
Loeffler did not play any unfamiliar notes Thursday, but the volume at which they were delivered might come with a noise ordinance.
In an expansive 22-minute question-and-answer session, Loeffler said he is more committed than ever to stick to his original plan of recruiting exclusively high school players — most from familiar Midwestern states — taking the time to develop them, and viewing everything through the lens of a five-year project.
