BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University football team has experienced plenty over the past few seasons: Bowl games, title contests, hostile crowds in large stadiums, and much more.
But the events from roughly this time two seasons ago were a unique incident — one that the Falcons hope will help them in the GoDaddy Bowl next week.
A few days after BG won the Mid-American Conference championship game in 2013, then-coach Dave Clawson accepted the same position at Wake Forest. And that’s an experience the upperclassmen on this year’s team are drawing upon after coach Dino Babers left after the MAC championship game this month to coach at Syracuse.
