BOWLING GREEN — As of 3 p.m. Sunday, Bowling Green is in the head coach market.
The school became the first in the Football Bowl Subdivision to fire its coach when it dismissed Mike Jinks in the midst of his third season at BG.
On Monday, Bowling Green director of athletics Bob Moosbrugger said he wants to have the new coach in place by the early signing date, which is Dec. 19. The Falcons have a jump start on the market, and the next six or so weeks will be a critical period for the program.
