BOWLING GREEN — As the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team enters Mid-American Conference play, first-year coach Michael Huger would give his team a “B” grade for its performance to this point.
The Falcons will take a 9-4 record into today’s MAC opener against Miami at the Stroh Center, having faced a schedule Huger said helped him learn about his new team.
“This schedule helped us prep for MAC play because we played against a number of different styles,” he said. “We played against teams that press, we played against teams with a good zone defense, and we played against teams that run and shoot 3’s.
