BOWLING GREEN — Twenty-nine years have passed since Bowling Green State University last made the NCAA hockey tournament, and the Falcons have three weeks to potentially end the drought.
As of now, the Falcons are on the wrong side of the NCAA tournament bubble, ranked No. 17 in the PairWise rankings that determine the 16-team NCAA field. Conference tournaments can change the picture drastically, however, and the Falcons will begin the Western Collegiate Hockey Association tournament this weekend.
Here’s how the Falcons can advance to the Big Dance, which begins March 29.
