ATLANTA — Finn Hogan has made unreal catches in college before, but what the Bowling Green State University sophomore did against Georgia Tech on Saturday undoubtedly tops them all.
The 6-foot-5 wide receiver’s one-handed grab in which he jumped, reached back with his right hand, and snagged the ball for a 14-yard touchdown late in the second quarter not only gave the Falcons a lead they wouldn’t relinquish in a stunning 38-27 victory at Bobby Dodd Stadium. It highlighted a breakout performance for the former Central Michigan walk-on, who transferred to BGSU before the season.
“I have one other career touchdown catch, and it’s a one-handed touchdown catch against Penn State,” Hogan said of his right-handed snag against the Nittany Lions last season.
