“Ferris State is hungry, they’re playing really well,” BG Head Coach Chris Bergeron said. “I don’t think they rely on one person at any of the three positions. I think they rely on the unit as a whole.”
The Falcons have already clinched a playoff spot, but they are also trying to get the home ice advantage for the first round of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs.
“We’re hoping that it’s not our last home series of the year,” Bergeron said. “I don’t think we’ve played as well at home in the latter part of the second half of the year, and we’ve had some really great crowds and I would like to reward our fans who have been coming to watch us play.
