Photo GalleryBowling Green, Ohio - The No. 12 Bowling Green State University hockey team extended its unbeaten streak at the BGSU Ice Arena to 14 games and improved to 4-0 this season following a loss with a high-octane 6-3 victory over the Clarkson Golden Knights on Saturday.
The Falcons responded to Wednesday night's shutout loss by scoring just 93 seconds into Saturday's contest. They continued to feast on opportunities and scored three goals in the first period, the most in one frame since a three-goal third on Nov. 21 against Alabama-Huntsville.
By the end of the game, BGSU equaled its highest goal total of the season, a six-goal effort in the season opener against Ohio State.
