ATLANTA — Terion Stewart isn’t the tallest running back in college football, but the Bowling Green State University standout certainly makes up for it with strength, tenacity, and heart.
The 5-foot-9, 225-pound back was an absolute force in BGSU’s 38-27 win at Georgia Tech on Saturday. His numerous broken tackles, electric spin moves, and continuous drive in his powerful legs helped him produce another noteworthy performance on a big stage.
Stewart’s motor on a career-high 26 carries resembled a wrecking ball that never stopped.
“He’s a pain in the [expletive] to tackle. He’s the steroid gerbil,” BGSU coach Scot Loeffler said.
