Thinking out loud ...
Have yourselves a day, Bowling Green hockey fans.
Not long ago, a return to the NCAA tournament was the stuff of la-la land, the program’s towering history — the championship banners, the Hall of Famers on the ice (Rob Blake and Ken Morrow), the legends on the bench (Ron Mason and Jerry York) — frozen in time beneath more than a generation of dust.
But here the Falcons are, their first trip to the tourney since 1990 a sweet measure of validation.
For the alums who poured their hearts and money into saving the program a decade ago.
