BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team attempted to form an eighth-inning rally, scoring one with the bases loaded, but the rally fell short against the Kent State Golden Flashes on Sunday (April 9), 4-2. Kyle Gurney pushed across both of BGSU's runs. The first came on a solo home run in the first inning to knot it up at 1-1. He also drew a bases-loaded walk in the eighth to plate the second run. With the loss, the Falcons fall to 11-17 on the season and 6-9 within the Mid-American Conference.
