BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s Marcus Hill erupted for a season-high 35 points and the Falcons overcame a slow start and a red-hot shooting performance from Eastern Michigan to earn a 92-90 overtime victory in the Mid-American Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU notched its eighth consecutive win to improve to 10-3, while Eastern Michigan fell to 7-6.
Rashaun Agee added 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Falcons. DaJion Humphrey tallied 12 points and six rebounds, while Trey Thomas had 10 points and six assists.
Jason Spurgin totaled seven points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks for BGSU, which won its ninth straight game against Eastern Michigan.
