MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball overcame an abysmal first half offensively to take a late lead over Central Michigan, but the Falcons couldn’t close it out as they fell in overtime 62-60 in a Mid-American Conference game Tuesday at McGuirk Arena.
The Falcons lost for the sixth time in their past eight games to fall to 16-10 (7-6 MAC). The Chippewas improved to 16-10 (10-3 MAC) with their 11th victory in the past 13 games.
BGSU scored just 17 points on 16.7 percent shooting (5 of 30) in falling behind by 11 at halftime.
